Our Story
Same food, new hands.
Sunny Thai started in 2021, named after its founder, Sunny. In 2024, the restaurant changed hands. We didn't want to start from nothing — we wanted to keep going what already worked: her recipes, her regulars, her name on the door. That meant earning trust from people who'd been coming for years before we ever touched a wok.
Our kitchen is run by Thai chefs — one trained in culinary school, one who learned the trade over years of professional cooking. We step in too, especially when a shift is short-staffed. The goal since taking over has been simple: keep Sunny Thai the place people already loved, without losing what made it worth loving.
